Sisterhood helps women grow in their relationship with God through teaching, chatting and walking together on life’s journey.
Throughout the year Sisterhood organises events, trips and speakers. Check the What’s On section of the site for the latest news.

Prayer and Share

A fortnightly meet up on Tuesday mornings for Ladies to have fellowship time together, sharing and supporting each other in prayer. Held in various homes, details of which can be found on the weekly newsheet.

Band of Brothers

Band of Brothers is a group where men can come together to learn and laugh, play and pray we meet on the second Sunday of the month at 7pm. Prov 27: 17 says "as iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. We do that by creating a safe space where be can be open, honest and vulnerable - but in a way that helps us support and build each other up. We learn from the bible and from each other about the relevance of living life as a man God's way. We normally meet monthly for a discussion than helps us link the bible to our everyday lives. We also get together at other times for fun social activities such as curry, walking football and CVM's 'The Gathering’

The Church has several groups that meet to study God’s word and to pray together. Check out the What’s On section for details.

Chit Chat

Part of our wider outreach to Shipton’s senior generation, we meet at the back of The White Bear pub from 10am on the 1st Wednesday of the month. We have a fun quiz, table games and, of course, lots of chit chat and good company! New faces always welcome!

Songs of Praise

We hold a half hour service on the last Tuesday of the month at 11am at Rainbow Fields, one of our sheltered housing locations in Shipston. Anyone is welcome to join in singing hymns, listening to a short talk and time to chat.

Life Group At Elm Road Every Other Thursday

We have a great group of young adults (18 – 30 some things) who meet at the pastor’s house for a bi monthly group. We have a cooked meal every time we meet and a bible study, time for prayer and sharing. We have a social program too and even go camping!

We run an Alpha course for those who are new and want to find out more about the Christian faith and who Jesus is. We run this over 8 weeks at one of our Church members’ homes. Depending on who wants to enrol we aim to run a course in the New Year and one in the Autumn. See the What’s On section for details of the latest course.
